I Won’t Give Up (나는 포기하지 않을)

            We all have this one impossible dream; to meet Justin Beiber, to be a singer, to have your own concert, to fly. It may come to the extent that we would rather be asleep dreaming of all of these than to be awake living in reality knowing that you will never be able to meet Justin Beiber, that you will always be stuck singing in the bathroom, that gravity will always keep you on the ground. I also have that dream. To meet SHINee’s Onew.
            I was in my 2^nd year in college when I saw Ring Ding Dong. There’s something in them that got me. Until now, I still get this “kilig” feeling when I watch their videos on YouTube. I admire everyone in the group but Onew has my heart. It was not his voice that caught me but it was of him being him. I do not claim that I know him well but watching all the videos made me realize we have something in common. He wants everyone around him to be happy. He makes them smile without him knowing it. He is very responsible as a leader of SHINee. I seldom see a video of him crying or feeling down. He has awesome vocals. He is conservative. Unlike other idols, he do not expose his body pretty much. That made him mysterious and us, his fans, admire him more for that.
            Because of him, I am studying hard to graduate with flying colors and convince my parents to let me go to Korea. Because of him I really want to go to South Korea. Because of him, I want to go to their concert and be on VIP. He pushed me to study Hangul. He showed me that being different is not bad. Because of him, I liked myself a lot more.
             There's a lot more I want to say but I will save them for next time. Annyeong!
